Grieg in Blue

The music of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg was part of this musical heritage that everyone recognizes and loves without always able to identify its author

The Norwegian saxophonist Helene Arntzen, paid tribute to the work of this great melodist who has both inspired by imagining how Edvard Grieg, his music would have felt if he had known the world of jazz, swing and made of improvisation. It is clear how much his compositions, in their simplicity, are becoming evident in Touch with jazz.

The world will celebrate in 2007 the centenary of the death of Edvard Grieg. A century after his departure, it is a great pleasure to share this music with you.

Thus, the main characters of these ladies Grieg and Ibsen: Peer Gynt, Åse, Solveig, the troll de la Montagne; Scandinavia… comes back through the door of the Jazz
